Hi everyone!! It has been a magical few years, getting to know folks and playing music, but it is now closing. This is the last Hudson Acoustic Song Circle.
If you may be interested in further opportunities for group jamming, keep your eyes here, there may be something coming in a public setting down the road sometime.
The only public jam that I know locally is currently held in Malden Bridge, second Friday of every month, hosted by Craig H, a frequent player at Hudson Opera House.
I have information on a few private gatherings. These are in homes and are generally by invitation, pot luck dinners, with the opportunity to make music with other folks. If you are interested in hearing more, please send me an email. I may be able to find a group that plays the type of music you are most interested in.
Otherwise, there are many open mics in the area within a 30min drive, although Hudson now only sports one, Tuesdays, 7pm at Club Helsinki. You can check out www.openmikes.org for listings. You can also send me an email and request addition to the Berkshire Open Mic monthly email blast, which lists most of the OM in the surrounding counties.
