Wow. If you missed last night at HOH, you missed a great evening!! We had a room full of guitars (8), a bass, and Peter on percussion.... sounds like mud?? Nope.... sounded GREAT. We played an assortment of well known covers replete with cool solos and wonderful harmonies. Well played music, complemented with style by the others in the room.
Aside from the usual suspects, we had two travelers.... One from NYC and the other from Illinois. Both interesting players who fit right into our Circle, with smiles.... What a fun night!!!
So..... don't miss the next one, at Red Dot, 7-9pm, Monday (yes, Labor Day).... if you play for FUN, and you like to collaborate on the fly, this is the place to hang for a bit.....
Now I understand why I missed the HOH jam last week. I believed the info in Ellen's Picks. Below is what she has in her listing every week--maybe you can contact her and she'll correct it? I went to HOH Monday at 7.
